INGREDIENTS
- 4-5 lbs babyback pork ribs
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp onion powder
- 1/2 tbsp mushroom seasoning
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tsp whiskey maple smoke rub
DIRECTIONS
- Rinse pork rib under cold water. Place ribs on a wire rack or in a large baking sheet. Pat dry on both sides with papertowels.
- Mix seasoning ingredients: onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, whiskey maple smoke rub. Sprinkle the seasoning evenly coating on both sides of pork ribs.
- Brush ribs with olive oil on each side. Sprinkle seasoning rub all over both sides of pork ribs. Store ribs in refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight.
- When ready to cook, set smoker to cook at 225 degrees F with hickory pellets. Preheat smoker for 15 minutes.
- Place pork ribs bone-side down and cook for 2 hours covered undisturbed.
- After 2 hours, flip pork ribs meat-side down and cook with cover on for another 1 hour.
- Optional: Glaze pork ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce or Hoisin sauce. Cut into individual ribs and serve.
