Vietnamese Peanut Sauce

Traditional dipping sauce for Vietnamese spring rolls (Goi Cuon)

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1+1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • Chopped scallion
  • Sriracha
  • Chili hot oil peppers

DIRECTIONS

  1. 1.
    Using a mixing bowl, add all ingredients. Stir and mix well.
  2. 2.
    Transfer to a food processor. Mix well until sauce is creamy.
  3. 3.
    Add chopped scallion, Sriracha and chili hot oil peppers. Ready to serve.
