Traditional mayonaise for making Vietnamese sandwiches (Banh Mi)

INGREDIENTS
- 3 eggs (yolk only)
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
DIRECTIONS
- Separate 3 eggs to obtain only the yolk in a large mixing bowl.
- Use a hand mixer with a whisk attachment to whisk the egg yolk while slowly add 1/2 cup of vegetable oil. Mix well until thickens.
- Add remaining 1/2 cup of vegetable oil and continue to whisk.
- Add 1 tsp garlic powder and pinch of salt. Continue to whisk until mixture becomes smooth paste. Mayonaise can be stored in an air tight container in refrigerator.
