INGREDIENTS
- 2 avocado (riped)
- 1 tsp fresh minced garlic, divided
- Lime
- 1 sweet onion
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp onion powder, divided
- 1 tbsp dried minced onion
- 2 tsp garlic powder, divided
- ½ head of iceberg lettuce
- 1 tomato, diced
- ½ bunch cilantro, divided
- Salsa
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 tsp taco powder
- Taco cheese
- Sour cream
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
DIRECTIONS
- Dice 1 sweet onion into small pieces.
- Clean cilantro. Dice half of cilantro into small pieces.
- To make guacamole, carve avocado meat from skin, remove seed, add to a mixing bowl. Use a large spoon to mash avocado until there is no lumps. Add diced cilantro, fresh minced garlic, lime, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper. Mix well.
- Cut ½ head of lettuce into small pieces
- Dice tomatoes.
- Using a large frying pan, add vegetable oil, bring over medium heat. Add fresh garlic and cook until golden brown. Add ground turkey, break turkey apart during cooking. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add dried minced onion, taco powder. Stir well.
- Ready to serve. Prepare taco with lettuce, onion, tomatoes, add ground turkey, taco cheese, cilantro, sour cream salsa, black pepper.
