INGREDIENTS
- 2 sweet sausage package (12 links)
- 1 large green peppers
- 1 hot sausage package (6 links)
- 1 lb ground sweet sausage
- 1 large spaghetti sauce (4 lbs)
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- ½ tsp seasoning sauce (Golden Mountain)
- ½ tsp light soy sauce (reduced sodium)
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon seasoning powder
- 1 tsp mushroom seasoning
- ½ tsp sugar
- 2×4 oz cans of mushroom
- 1 tbsp fresh minced garlic, divided
- 1 tsp minced onion
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion Powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp basil leaves
- 1 tsp parsley leaves
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 3 sweet onion
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
DIRECTIONS
- Cut up sausages into individual links. Lightly season sausage with onion powder, garlic powder and black pepper.
- Using a large frying pan, heat up olive oil and add minced garlic over medium heat. When garlic is golden brown, add sausages to pan and cook until golden brown in all sides. Remove and cut sausages into quarters pieces. Set aside.
- Cut and dice sweet onion into small square pieces. Set aside.
- Using a medium bowl, empty ground beef or ground turkey and ground sweet sausage. Add raw egg, bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, rosemary, fresh parsley, mozzarella cheese. Mix thoroughly. Roll meat by hand into meatballs (lime sized) and place on cooking sheet.
- Prepare mixing spices with chicken bouillon powder, mushroom seasoning, sugar, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, minced garlic, minced onion.
- Using a medium pot, add olive oil, minced garlic over medium heat. When garlic is golden brown, add cut up sausages, sweet onion. Fry for 2 minutes.
- Add spaghetti sauce to pot. Add meatballs, seasoning sauce, cans mushroom, mixing spices from Step 5.
- Add additional parsley, oregano, basil to pot and stir.
- Cook spaghetti slightly cover with pot cover over low heat for 4 hours.
