INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 12 cherries
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts & 3 tbsp chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 2/3 cup milk
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Melt butter and put in bottom of 9-inch cake pan. Sprinkle brown sugar and 1/4 cup nuts. Place cherries in clock-like fashion against edge of pan.
- In small bowl mix sugar, cinnamon and 3 tbsp chopped nuts.
- In second bowl combine Bisquick and milk. With fork, beat 15 strokes.
- Shape dough into 12 balls. Roll each ball in melted butter and cinnamon mixture. Place each ball over a cherry.
- Bake 30 minutes or until a tester comes out dry.
