Honey Apple Puff Pastry Tarts

INGREDIENTS
  • 6 tbsp honey
  • 2 apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, defrosted
  • 6 tsp cinnamon sugar
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • Powder sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. 1.
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. 2.
    Cut parchment paper to fit cookie sheet.
  3. 3.
    Roll puff pastry until large enough to cut into 6 large rectangles. Set aside.
  4. 4.
    Spread 1 tbsp honey in 6 sections of parchment paper.
  5. 5.
    Place 7 apple slices on top of each section of honey.
  6. 6.
    Sprinkle apple slices with cinnamon sugar.
  7. 7.
    Cover apple slices with puff pastry and crimp edges.
  8. 8.
    Brush with egg.
  9. 9.
    Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  10. 10.
    Flip pastries over and sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving.
