Easy Drop Danish

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups original Bisquick
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup apricot, raspberry, strawberry or blueberry preserves
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. 1.
    Heat oven to 450 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheet.
  2. 2.
    Stir Bisquick, butter and sugar in medium bowl until crumbly. Stir in milk until dough forms; beat 15 strokes. Add additional milk if needed.
  3. 3.
    Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet. Make a shallow well in center of each with back of spoon; fill with 1 tsp of the preserves.
  4. 4.
    Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. 5.
    Mix powdered sugar and water to make glaze; while Danish are hot, drizzle with glaze.
