Crispy Fried Fish

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 lbs fresh fish (cod, haddock, tilapia, flounder)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup very cold water
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp lemon sea salt
  • Tartar sauce
  • Lemon, sliced

DIRECTIONS

    In a large mixing bowl, whisk flour, buttermilk, baking powder, cold water, and salt until silky smooth.
  2. 2.
    Preheat air frier at 400 degrees F.
  3. 3.
    Generously dip fish fillets into batter to coat.
  4. 4.
    Place fillets carefully onto air frier (several fillets at one time). Cook fish for approximately 6-8 minutes with flipping at mid point of cooking. Serve with tartar sauce and squeeze of lemon.
