INGREDIENTS
- 2 lbs fresh fish (cod, haddock, tilapia, flounder)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup very cold water
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp lemon sea salt
- Tartar sauce
- Lemon, sliced
DIRECTIONS
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk flour, buttermilk, baking powder, cold water, and salt until silky smooth.
- Preheat air frier at 400 degrees F.
- Generously dip fish fillets into batter to coat.
- Place fillets carefully onto air frier (several fillets at one time). Cook fish for approximately 6-8 minutes with flipping at mid point of cooking. Serve with tartar sauce and squeeze of lemon.
