Barbara's favorite appetizer!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 loaf French bread, sliced thin
- 16 oz homemade bruschetta (see below for recipe)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
DIRECTIONS
- 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2.Angular slice French bread into thin slices and place on a large cookie sheet.
- 3.Toast bread for 2 minutes, remove and flip pieces.
- 4.Spread homemade bruschetta on slices and sprinkle Parmesan cheese generously on each piece.
- 5.Return pan to oven and toast for 10 minutes or until Parmesan cheese is melted. Ready to serve.
Homemade Bruschetta
INGREDIENTS
- 4 large hot house or 6 large Roma tomatoes, diced
- 1/3 cup basil leaves, chopped
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
DIRECTIONS
- 1.Mix all ingredients together and marinade overnight.
