INGREDIENTS
- 1 fresh whole chicken (3-4 lbs), cleaned, cut
- 1 oz Chinese roast chicken seasoning mix (Noh)
- 1/2 tbsp chicken bouillon powder (Lee Kum Kee)
- 1 tbsp mushroom seasoning (Po Lo Ku)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp fresh garlic, diced
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- scallion, chopped for garnish
DIRECTIONS
- Clean and cut whole chicken in half. Place chicken in a large mixing bowl.
- Add chicken seasoning mix, olive oil, chicken bouillon powder, mushroom seasoning, sesame oil, diced garlic, onion powder. Mix well and let chicken marinate for 30 minutes.
- Air fry chicken for 20 minutes at 400 degrees with non-skin side facing up. Flip chicken at halfway point with chicken-skin side facing up.
- Remove cooked chicken when done. Scatter chopped scallions on top of chicken. Ready to serve.
