Best-Ever Meat Loaf

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 can (10 3/4 to 11 oz) golden mushroom condensed soup
  • 1 can (10 3/4 to 11 oz) cream of mushroom condensed soup
  • 3 lbs ground beef or turkey
  • 1 package (1 oz) of Lipton onion soup dry mix
  • 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs (6 slices of bread)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp mushroom seasoning
  • 2 egg, beaten
  • 2 sweet onion, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup vegetable broth

DIRECTIONS

    Preheat oven at 350 degrees (F).

    In large bowl, thoroughly mix 1/3 cup of golden mushroom soup, 1/3 cup of cream of mushroom soup, ground beef, eggs, Lipton onion dry mix package, onion powder, garlic powder, mushroom seasoning, chopped onion and Worcestershire. In 12x8 inch baking pan, firmly shape meat into 8x4 inch loaf.

    Bake meat loaf for 1 1/4 hour or until done. Remove meat loaf to platter; keep warm.

    Pour off all but 3 tbsp of drippings from pan (without grease). Stir remaining golden mushroom soup and cream of mushroom soup and vegetable broth into drippings in pan, scraping up brown bits from bottom. Over medium heat, heat soup mixture until hot, stirring constantly. Serve gravy with meat loaf.
