INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 sweet onions, chopped
- 1/2 green cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 tbsp fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp mushroom seasoning
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, julienne cut
- 2 tsp vegetable oil, divided
- 1/8 cup soy sauce
- 1/8 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sriracha
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- scallion, chopped
- Dried fried onions
- Corn starch slurry (2 tsp cornstarch, 2 tbsp cold water)
DIRECTIONS
- Rinse string beans under cold water. Drain and cut into 2" pieces in length.
- Using a deep non-stick wok, add 1 tsp vegetable oil, bring to hot over medium heat. Add 1/2 tbsp minced garlic and cook until golden brown.
- Add ground turkey to wok. Spread turkey meat and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove meat to a bowl. Set a side.
- Using same wok, add remain 1 tsp vegetable oil, bring to hot over medium heat. Add remain 1/2 tbsp minced garlic, ginger and cook until golden brown.
- Add cleaned string beans, onions, mushroom seasoning, sesame oil. Cook with cover on for 2-3 minutes.
- Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, egg, black pepper. Mix well and bring to boil.
- Add cornstarch slurry. Stir frequently until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and serve while hot. Sprinkle with black pepper, fried onions and chopped scallion.
