Korean BBQ Babyback Pork Ribs

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 slab of St Louise babyback pork ribs (3-4 lbs)
  • 1 tbsp fresh minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ cup Korean BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp pork seasoning powder
  • 1 tbsp seasoning sauce (Golden Mountain)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp mushroom seasoning
  • 1 tbsp minced onion
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, finely minced

DIRECTIONS

    Clean, trim fat from pork rib. Cut into spare rib pieces.
  2. 2.
    Place pork rib into a large mixing bowl. Add fresh ginger, sesame oil, fresh minced garlic, seasoning sauce. Mix ingredients together with pork ribs.

    Prepare marinade ingredients by mixing black pepper, pork seasoning powder, garlic powder, minced onion, onion powder, mushroom seasoning.

    Apply marinade ingredients along with Korean BBQ sauce to pork ribs. Mix well and marinade overnight.
  5. 5.
    Grill pork over low heat for 20 minutes on each side. Turn often to avoid burning. Baste pork ribs intermittently with remaining marinated sauce. Remove from heat.
  6. 6.
    Spoon apple cider vinegar sauce (see below) over ribs prior to serving.
Apple Cider Vinegar Sauce
INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (dark or light)
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes

    Mix all ingredients together until sugar completely resolved.
