Steamed Lobsters and Garlic Butter

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 x 1-1/2 lb live lobsters
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/8 tsp merlot salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 whole lemons, sliced

DIRECTIONS

  1. 1.
    Using a non-stick sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. 2.
    Add minced fresh garlic and cook until golden brown.
  3. 3.
    Add merlot salt, black pepper and 1 slice of lemon. Stir well to mix all ingredients.
  4. 4.
    Remove garlic butter from heat. Set aside.
  5. 5.
    In a large steamer, bring 2-inch of water to boil. Add live lobsters to pot and close lit. Steam lobsters until shells are bright red for 8-10 minutes. Remove pot from heat.

    Remove lobsters with tongs and serve with garlic butter and lemons.
