INGREDIENTS
  • 2 avocado (riped)
  • 1 tsp fresh minced garlic, divided
  • Lime
  • 1 sweet onion
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp onion powder, divided
  • 1 tbsp dried minced onion
  • 2 tsp garlic powder, divided
  • ½ head of iceberg lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • ½ bunch cilantro, divided
  • Salsa
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tsp taco powder
  • Taco cheese
  • Sour cream
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

DIRECTIONS

    Dice 1 sweet onion into small pieces.
  2. 2.
    Clean cilantro. Dice half of cilantro into small pieces.
  3. 3.
    To make guacamole, carve avocado meat from skin, remove seed, add to a mixing bowl. Use a large spoon to mash avocado until there is no lumps. Add diced cilantro, fresh minced garlic, lime, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper. Mix well.

    Cut ½ head of lettuce into small pieces

    Dice tomatoes.
  6. 6.
    Using a large frying pan, add vegetable oil, bring over medium heat. Add fresh garlic and cook until golden brown. Add ground turkey, break turkey apart during cooking. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add dried minced onion, taco powder. Stir well.

    Ready to serve. Prepare taco with lettuce, onion, tomatoes, add ground turkey, taco cheese, cilantro, sour cream salsa, black pepper.
