BBQ Babyback Pork Ribs

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 slab of babyback pork ribs
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp chipotle-pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp mushroom seasoning
  • 1 tbsp minced onion
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • Hoisin sauce

DIRECTIONS

  1. 1.
    Wash pork with cold water. Pad dry with paper towel.
  2. 2.
    Using a mixing bowl, mix all ingredients: brown sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, chipotle-pepper powder, garlic powder, mushroom seasoning, minced onion and minced garlic.

    Rub mixing ingredients onto all sides of pork slab.
  4. 4.
    Put pork slab into a large foil baking bag (e.g. Reynolds Hot Bag extra heavy duty foil) and let it sit overnight in refrigerator.
  5. 5.
    When ready to cook, preheat oven to 300 degrees. Place foil bag with pork slab into oven and cook for 2 hours.
  6. 6.
    Preheat BBQ grill. Remove pork slab from foil bag and grill for 10 minutes on each side at medium-low heat level.
  7. 7.
    Cut pork slab into individual rib pieces. Baste lightly ribs with Hoisin sauce. Ready to serve.
