Mini Star Jam Tarts

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 package frozen puff pastry (2 sheets)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup favorite jams (apricot, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, etc.)

DIRECTIONS

  1. 1.
    Thaw puff pastry according to package directions.
  2. 2.
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  3. 3.
    Lightly flour surface and roll each pastry sheet into a 15×10 inch rectangle. Cut with a 2-3 inch star cookie cutter.
  4. 4.
    Press pastry stars into muffin cups.
  5. 5.
    Combine cream cheese and powered sugar until smooth. Place 1 tsp of mixture in the center of each tart.
  6. 6.
    Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and remove from pan. Top each tart with 1 tsp of preserves.
