Puff Pastry Chocolate Bundles

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 (6 oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup walnuts (optional)
  • Powdered sugar
  • Optional: vanilla ice cream or whipped cream

DIRECTIONS

    Thaw pastry 30 minutes or according to package directions.
  2. 2.
    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  3. 3.
    On a lightly floured surface, roll pastry to a 12-inch square; cut into four 6-inch squares.
  4. 4.
    In the center of each square, place 1/4 cup chocolate and 1 tbsp walnuts.
  5. 5.
    Bring pastry corners together just above chocolate; twist and turn. Fan out corners.
  6. 6.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand at least 10 minutes.
  7. 7.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve. Add ice cream or whipped cream if desired
